𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁

The Financial Crimes Division of the High Court yesterday received a significant boost to its technological infrastructure following the official handover of Information and Communication Technology equipment donated by GIZ. GIZ made this donation through its project titled ‘Strengthening Public Financial and Economic Management in Malawi’ whose objective is to strengthen Anti-Corruption players in Malawi, among others.

The handover ceremony which was held at the High Court, Lilongwe District Registry, was attended by the Chief Justice of the Republic of Malawi, Honourable Rizine Robert Mzikamanda SC, High Court Judges, members of staff from the Malawi Judiciary as well as officials from GIZ.

The donated equipment includes computers, industrial printers, external hard drives and other items. The donation is aimed at enhancing the operational capacity of the Financial Crimes Division to handle complex financial cases more efficiently. The support also aligns with ongoing efforts to digitize court processes and promote transparency within the Judiciary.
