E-Court Launch

The Judiciary with funding from the UNDP has installed Video Conference Facilities in the following courts:  Chief Resident Magistrate North, Chief Resident Magistrate East, Chief Resident Magistrate Centre, Karonga, Chitipa, Uliwa and Thyolo Magistrate Courts.

The Video Conference facilities will also be linked with Prisons and the Police effectively forming an E-Court which is expected to improve access and efficient delivery of Justice.

The official launch of the E-Court will take place on the 24th of April, 2024.
